If one were to ascribe to them human attributes that unite them in all their individuality, one could describe the houseplants assembled in this year's festival trailer by The Golden Pixel Cooperative as gracefully self-assured. Hands put the finishing touches on their lush greenery, then technology comes into play: test charts, photometers, spotlights and headphones. The set is staged, the right setting is found to help each individual element come to full fruition and make visible something that is more than the sum of all the parts: a new body, an organism of individual cells, a stable collective of experimental female artists, an artistic practice, a story, a film.
