The screening program "Echoes of Silence" takes the interplay of sound and silence as its starting point and understands them as forms of resistance and as tools for conscious listening.

The screening program "Echoes of Silence" evolved from an artistic exchange between Nathalie Koger, artist and member of the Golden Pixel Cooperative, the Swedish artist Johanna Billing and Art Lab Gnesta.

"Echoes of Silence" raws inspiration from Johanna Billings' preoccupation with the interplay of sound and silence - as forms of resistance and as tools for conscious listening. The program further examines silence through the lenses of memory, architecture, and identity, employing a variety of artistic approaches.

The program features works by artists and members of the Golden Pixel Cooperative, including Pille-Riin Jaik, Olena Newkryta, Enar de Dios Rodríguez, Christiana Perschon, Nathalie Koger, Katharina Swoboda, The Golden Pixel Cooperative and Lisa Truttmann.
The screening is free of charge and will be accompanied by a short talk with Nathalie Koger. Art Lab Gnesta invites you to coffee, fika and snacks.

The works on display are subtitled in English.
